A monthly membership tier that includes two gear checkouts a month — tent, pack, skis, whatever. Lowers the barrier for people trying a sport for the first time, and used rental gear feeds straight into the Re/Supply resale program.

The resale pipeline is the strongest argument here. Rental gear that's been used twenty times is exactly what Re/Supply wants.
