Hiding a song is not the same as telling the algorithm to stop. Give me a persistent block at the artist level that actually holds across every autogenerated playlist, radio station, and daily mix. Right now the same artist reappears within a week no matter what I do.

The specific failure mode is Discover Weekly. I can block an artist everywhere else and they still turn up there.

Would also want this at the genre level. One holiday playlist in December shouldn't reshape my recommendations until March.

Genre-level is a bigger ask but same underlying idea: give the listener a durable negative signal, not just a skip.
