Lights dimmed, music off, no PA announcements, for two hours a week. Some stores already pilot this informally but there is no way to find out which ones or when. Put it on the store hours page like any other hours.

My kid can't handle the fluorescent lighting and the overhead announcements. We drive forty minutes to a store that does this informally on Sunday mornings. Publishing it would change our week.

Adding: self-checkout beep volume should be adjustable too. That's the loudest thing in the store.

Good catch, I'd fold that into the same idea rather than filing a separate one.
